Flexplorer is a one-of-a-kind project which perfectly embraces the philosophy behind CdM, alwaysmoving forward studying and developing new ideas in line with the shipyard’s vision.
She’s an Explorer vessel as per best CDM tradition, with the usual over engineered technical solutions, sturdiness, seaworthiness and range. Also her masculine trait contributes to increase the confidence on her performances at sea.
She’s the result of quite a few briefs with Owners, all looking for a boat they could use to spend time at sea doing all sorts of activities. In other words there’s a need of a Flexible boat.
As such CDM come up with a vessel whose highlights are an ample main deck, a generous main salon space and Owner cabin, a cozy upper deck with an “infinity deck” feeling and a big storages capabilities all around the hull.
Once the tender on main deck is freed up from all the sorts of water toys, You may imagine the deck being able to be transformed into a sumptuous beach club, with no comparison with the ones featured aboard yachts of the same size. Who else can offer such a vast deck space, which can be further enlarged by the openable bulwarks and extends from main salon down to the stern stairs and the swimming platform into the sea?
Evening comes and the Owner wants to organize an al fresco dinner with his friends. Round tables can be laid on the main deck with candles, soft lights, sweet scents and background music making up for the perfect atmosphere.
Hours later, all is stored back in the several storages the vessel offers and the main deck becomes an unmatchable disco floor, with DJ playing his music from the upper deck space.
Next day – probably late morning if guest had such a crazy night… – guests can get entertained with all sorts of activities, with lazarette offering the possibility to be customized according to the Owner wishes: fitness club? Diving center? Bicycle storage?....You name it. Alternatively, Owner may opt to leave the vessel to explore the surrounding areas aboard of its helicopter: the main deck in fact is suitable for a touch and go helipad usage
All this is made possible by the fact that main deck is so neat and unobstructed. Here kicks in the CDM touch, the solution that place us – once more - one step ahead of the other shipyards: there’s no crane on the main deck, as it is in fact hidden.
